The daily Yomiuri

Finally the Tokyo Great International Quilt Festival began on Friday.
Unfortunately the weather has not been fine since the opening. We had snow and rain for the first day in 35 days!

Just before the show started, which was the 19th of January, our article about the project "Anata to Watashi no Quilt - Patch for Japan" was in the daily Yomiuri in their English version!

Now most of you could see what was written!

visitors from Thailand

They came visit our shop from Thailand in the middle of last December.
It was good to hear that the situation in Thailand was getting better from the flood which was a huge damage even for Japanese industry.

Many thanks for coming!

Letters

Since last Monday when the article of "Anata to Watashi no Quilt" was in the Daily Yomiuri, we have had some calls and letters from readers to help this project.

One of them sent us 2 blocks that she made!

We will exhibit quilts of Yoko and Marylene and coverlets of Claire at our booth in Tokyo Dome Show!

The daily YOMIURI

In one of the largest national newspapers in Japan, "The daily YOMIURI" , "Anata to Watashi no Quilt (Patch for Japan)" is informed this morning.

In the middle of November, an editor of Yomiuri emailed us to know our activity better then all of us went to Ishinomaki to see (meet) Yoko and her customers last December.

The article talks about how we started this project. Besides at the Tokyo Great International Quilt Festival which is held on Jan 20th for 9 days, we begin selling a set of postcards for raising donation to ship quilts and coverlets (crochet) from Europe to Ishinomaki.

If a few of you could go checking the Tokyo Dome Show, you would see a couple of quilts and coverlets at our booth which we brought from Europe with us.

Here is the same article online where you can see the colored picture.
